People respond to stress in different ways and this could be by feeling overwhelmed, depressed or increasing anxious.
Sometimes you are able to overcome these feelings by taking exercise, relaxing or doing an activity that 'takes your mind off' the reason for you stress but there are times in everyone's life when they need some help with relaxing and using the various methods that I am trained in and following an initial consultation, I will identify and apply the best and most appropriate method for you to help you to attain a state of increased calmness and reduce levels of anxiety, stress or anger.
Following the session, I will provide you with a CD to support you further.
I oftens use Relaxation therapy as one part of a wider stress management programe and can decrease muscle tension, lower blood pressure and slow down heart and breath rates. It can also be used on it's own as a stand-alone session.
